Velinn Caravela Pousada Ilhabela was opened in 1992 and is part of a select group of hotels and inns on the island. It was built in the model known today as Ilhabela Construction, which mixes carved wood and masonry and, with improvements, only wood from reforestation and ecologically correct construction is used.

?An extremely pleasant inn. We have just arrived from Ilhabela and our stay on the island could not have been better. The place is simple but impeccably clean - bedding always clean with a pleasant scent. A thousand marks for the hotel staff - receptionists and the lady who served the coffee, always very attentive. We traveled with a 2 year old and they did everything to make us feel comfortable. Anyway, we intend to come back and stay in this inn, because it is very worth it (cost x benefit). There we feel at home!?

?Couldn't have chosen a better place!!! The room was perfect, it has air conditioning, wifi, towels, bed linen, blanket, fridge, they think of everything. Not to mention that the inn looks like a ship!!! The service was simply sensational, we were greeted by Re, he was wonderful. The hostel is very close to the ferry, restaurants, pizzerias, supermarkets, pharmacy. We had nothing to worry about!!! Just go and enjoy!!!!?
