"I am a co-founder of the Velinn chain, but today I am independent and have my own inn. Velinn was created under the name Grupo Caravela because we started to acquire several hotels. We reached 5 and with so much work we needed to maintain sales and the standard. that's when the need for professionalization arose, mainly in the commercial and customer service sectors. Except for the first 2 years, we reached an annual occupancy of 82% with an average daily high. For the OTAs we are until today the main partner in Ilhabela, even if they represent only between 35 and 45% of our sales!"
